The Cooperative Light & Power (CLP) Board of Directors is excited to announce that Joel Janorschke will become the cooperative's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/General Manager (GM), joining the CLP family on October 31, 2022.
Cooperative Light & Power's Board President Scott Veitenheimer says, "CLP was very fortunate to have three excellent candidates for the CEO/GM position. The board unanimously agreed that Joel had the experience, knowledge, and skills that would be the best fit for CLP. We are excited to have him join our team, and we have full confidence in him to help us face any challenges in CLP's future."
Janorschke has 29 years of experience within the electric cooperative industry. His professional experience includes positions as general manager, operations manager, design engineer, maintenance line foreman, and light construction line foreman. Janorschke is coming to CLP from Traverse Electric Cooperative, where he held the position of General Manager for the past five years.
"My past positions have equipped me with the experience, knowledge, and skills necessary to communicate effectively with all employees and build strong relationships within departments to serve the membership effectively," says Janorschke.
